There’s no way Green Bay will win either. Your defense was and is just as bad as both defenses that played tonight. While I’m salty we lost, I’ll be made happy knowing the Packers won’t win either

I am totally willing to trade everyone on the Seahawks for Megatron at this point.

I didn’t say anything at all about the Packers, where did that even come from? I was merely stating that the Lions had no chance at all. And lol at thinking the Packers can’t win it all because of our defense. We’re actually about as good as the other playoffs teams when it comes to points allowed (aside from the super duper top defense like San Fran), and we’re heads and shoulders better on offense than almost every other team other than the Saints and Patriots.
I’m talking about those run plays they should have stopped that led to big gains.

I think the Packers defense will be their downfall this year. Bank on it.

So, your Lions lose in a blowout and all you can talk about is my Packers?

Yup, Drew Brees continues to be one of my favorite QBs.

Sean Payton is merciless. He wants to get to 60+ points just to completely break whatever mental will the Lions have left.

I love how Al Michaels always throw in a gambling reference in the last two minutes. This dude is like clockwork.

I like Al Michaels. Cris Collinsworth can go though. I like the Saints over the 49ers, but damn that’ll be a great game.

Problem with Chris is he’s too smart to be doing football. Football is both a complex and simple game depending on what aspect you’re looking at. He’s likes to try and explain the the X’s and O’s or make references that half of viewers don’t understand.

I thought the lions had a chance for a second there, lmao.

-In the first game, it looked like once Jonathan Joseph pretty much took AJ Green out of the game, Andy Dalton didn’t know what to do. He was trying to force it to A.J. Green into solid coverage hoping he would bail him out. Cincy played alright defensively (at least initially), but those turnovers from Dalton really hurt them, and put them on the field for too long. Houston-Baltimore is going to be a tough game… I think that game will come down to who can create turnovers, as both seem almost equal.
-In the second game, for a moment, I thought Detroit could mount a come back, but Detroit’s defense was simply on the field for too long. The Saints had almost twice as many minutes in the time of possession, and you could tell that Stafford was trying to force his throws to get something going, because the way the defense played in the second half, they weren’t going to get any defensive stops. Detroit simply couldn’t run the ball and really looked one dimensional. One thing the Saints lacked last year in the playoffs was not having a solid run game due to injuries, but they obviously fixed that. I’m sort of surprised that Detroit’s D-Line played alright against the Saints O-Line, not because the D-Line is bad (in fact, they are pretty good, besides against the run), but it is because the Saints O-Line rarely gets pressured. It didn’t really matter, though. Detroit has a good future… once LeShoure and Best (if he can recover, though he might be wise to think about his future) come back and they can draft more O-Linemen that can get push in the run game.

Shame about today but I wasn’t expecting us to win, just hoping. This season was godlike for us as far as I’m concerned. The teams knows that it can win, know all they have to do is shore up a bunch of silly shit they do to sabotage themselves.
Next year we will hopefully be in there.

Still cannot wait for NO @ SF.

Media is talking like the Saints are completely at a loss of words when playing outdoors… lmao. Also, it’s SF, not Alaska, so the weather will be fine. That SF defense is up for it’s biggest challenge this season. In the immortal words of Bart Scott… CAN’T WAIT.
