Bail money spent --> Facebook post that preemptively undermines any case the defense could possibly make for him --> bail money wasted.
Or is it a valid defense to say, “Your honor, my client isn’t insane… but he’s clearly just too god damn stupid to be held responsible for his actions.”

Sure he got out, but something like this will definitely haunt him for the rest of his life, assuming he doesn’t get cocky and wind up in jail later on. Cops will always be watching him, neighbors will take notice, friends won’t want him around, internet harassment, threats, I’m sure there will be random acts of violence against him, nobody will employ a guy who shot a 13 year old girl. He might think he is hard or something but reality is gonna tear him a new one.
