Your assumption that it’s based on demographics does not explain how terror attacks are committed mostly by Muslims even in countries where they are a minority in the population.
By your demographics theory a country that is let’s say 80% Christian 10% atheist and 10% Muslim should have 1 atheist and 8 Christian terrorists for every 1 Muslim, but that’s not what is happening.
And even in the USA most school shooters are actually Asian, compared to their relative % in the population.
They’ll blame videogames, or toxic masculinity. But that’s because there are no evidence that these were done in the name of something specific so they are just looking for random things to blame. Also the frequency of the events plays a role. You can’t give one Baruch Goldstein the same weight as hundreds of murders done while shouting “Allah Ackbar”.
If Jews for example started pulling off the exact same thing at the exact same frequency (even relative to the population), they would be getting the same treatment.

He made a general statement about muslims essentially being the bad guys, and i simply pointed out the obvious, that most muslims clearly arent terrorist, or a lot more of us would be praising allah by force then there are.
True some domestic attacks of terror arent so clear, unlike the abortion killings, or the KKK itself and other white hate groups who all heavily identify with the new testament, and abide by its teachings to justify their hate. With that said, like i said, we really dont even ask. Its sort of a non issue in the USA at least. Where if you dont yell something about allah while killing someone, people could give two shits if you had any semi religious motivation behind what you did. For those that have, who knows who they are, because those cases dont make national news.
We’re at a point where a muslim could kill a person in the USA, give no indication of being a terrorist, just a lone single act of violence, and they will comb through them with a fine tooth comb just to make sure. There is this hidden assumption you could be a terrorist just simply by what piece of fiction you worship, how you wear your facial hair, or how you dress.
A group of 5 KKK members could go out and murder 10 minorities tomorrow, and while the discussion of racism will be rampant, NO ONE, will bring up their christian values and beliefs that they use to back up their hate, and preach WHILE THEYRE BURNING THE GOD DAMN FUCKING CROSS (not yelling at you, just emphasizing). I’m sure there are thousands of crazed, murderers and rapist in jail who have used christian god/bibles teachings in one way or another to justify their nonsense. But this is not really a topic worth arguing. We all know all religious groups have crazy fundamentalist. We know no one is actively keeping track of any other religions crimes done in the name of their beliefs besides muslims. We know people outside of muslims commit acts of violence in the name of their beliefs. We all should understand that obviously most muslims arent extremist or terrorist. Not most as in like 6 out of 4 arent extremist, but like not even like an 8th of 1 percent of the muslim population are extremist.
It’s pretty simple, you shouldnt hold all muslims accountable for the act of a tiny portion of their population. I mean, if we’re gonna start holding religions accountable for fuckery, lets go waaaaay back, and really start going at it.

Here’s the thing: I’ve had family members, neighbors etc. murdered in the name of ideologies. For you it may be about saving face, for me it’s about survival. You can embrace your multiculturalism thing as long as you only put your own life at risk, not mine nor others. I’d rather keep a safe distance. Bullets and bombs kill, being called a bigot doesn’t, hence why I don’t give a shit about what ivory tower dwellers think.
Again, separate the people from the faith. Some 14 year old in Yemen has no control over other individuals doing bad things.
But the moderates DO end up helping the extremists by preventing criticism of the faith itself.
Even though the moderates are forced to live under western values that contradict the holy book (for example not murdering gays), they still won’t update their religion in an official manner to exclude all mentions of gay killings. But why not? If you are already disobeying the holy text anyway then why not change it for the better?
Jainism is a good example. The core values of the religion include non-violence. The more extreme you are within the religion, the more non-violent you become. The foundations affect how the rooftop looks like. Change the foundations and you change the rooftop. The “real” Muslims should go write a new book that accurately reflects their “religion of peace” because the Quran and the Hadith are not it.
If you want an example from Judaism as well- How about updating Judaism to not include circumcision, at least below consenting adult age? But if you were to criticize them for this violation of human rights you’d be called an anti-semitic racist bigot, as if you attacked the people themselves rather than the act.
Prevention of criticism prevents change for the better.
We’re talking about a poor country here. All of these first world countries have the luxury of being first world to begin with so many that identify with their religion are going to question its beliefs at some point living in such luxury. But a 3rd world country has people living in constant poverty with their religion being one of the few things they can cling to.
Any suggested fixes you make ignore that your reality is different from their reality. Its not just an issue of the religion they believe in. If it was than Christians would probably be doing worse, so lets actually discuss the real problems here, rather than using few attacks to justify the hate of an entire belief system not all that different from the ones in modern societies.
What they should do is to first acknowledge that their morality comes from an internal sources (I donate the poor because I have an internal motivation to do it) and the collective values of society (we all feel like killing gays is wrong so we made a law prohibiting it) and since the holy scripture does not hold any real power, only the power they choose to give it, they can dismiss the validity of the text just for being written there, and have a real discussion about each and every religious rule. If circumcision has to face the exact same scrutiny as every other modern law has, it will end up being dismissed. For the same reason that we should not cut off babies fingers, we should not cut off other parts as well. Once you remove tradition from the equation and only let merit dictate, things will end up changing for the better.
