Dutch scene is pretty strong! AQH ftw!
@Deemo,isn’t there a big new arcade opening in central London that will have h2h cabs? Could spark a new crowd and the left over old crowd to build a scene again. I think TrueMight posted something about that.
Yes Heart of Gaming in London when it opens will have Versus City cabs as well as a bunch of refurbished Naomis

This was the ST tournament they ran at a London tournament recently! There will be regular 3rd Strike sessions and hopefully tournaments too and lets not forget about Arcade Street and VS Dojo in Paris!
If you guys have another, I will skip out on going to vegas next month for this.

Sorry guys, not indicative of any skill or anything. If anyone was inebriated or just tired, same thing really.
Plenty fun, thanks for doing that, pretty sick if its the last game someone sees from here.
Learned something very important watching pherai’s Denjin Ryu a bunch earlier too.
Sweet, Duralath on mic during my game. Saw him on there later, seemed in his element hosting just fine and with me up he had more to talk about then if he ran out of anything to say. Gootecks is the leaned back, “yeah I get paid for this, its what I do” coolguy. - oh okay or also just not in his element yet, tired. Running off all the stuff as if pherai isn’t there.
Nope, that was my first game in the building after a long trip. Didn’t play any Ibuki even last week, or anywhere near Gootecks until much later in the night. Alright not as turtle as I might have remembered and didn’t do as bad as I thought with my usual have no control, stand around and die. Accomplished my goals, an important one, don’t mash. No sweep even from double tap, okay keep going. Alright no buffering Super to be sick enough with SA2 blowthru fireballs. I was going to make sure that definitely didn’t happen.
Alex Chun notes given as a response on complimenting his play that it looked like his game to win and take vs the Chun in teams, she’s flailing with maybe the higher risk / reward on her side. He carefully walks out of range instead of just sweep meaty, or for punishing a low, having more patience to get back in for a better advantage, that would’ve helped me if I got such lessons before my Chun game. I might’ve even tried to jump! Even if walking up to take the room she’s giving me is fine. Just don’t follow her rhythm like she wants me to and be that easy to bait and read, mix it up.
-edit just this sentence in: didn’t know who was the chun he’s playing until right now. Everything said above still stands.
MVP definitely gets split to Vinny and Bean. I’ll accept the title of “most improved” if such a nomination arises…
Shoutouts to JuanFM for the coaching, Gootecks and Duralath for being as respectful as possible of my kamikaze, “don’t give a fuck, just wanna parry/predict everything” play style, Marc Cesar for calling me an idiot after allowing himself to get supered when I parried that rose (there was a huge gap between that parry and super, toward + forward or shoryu would’ve guaranteed you the win, homie!), and ericxchin for reluctantly acknowledging my existence and success that night (I didn’t confirm that low forward super, that was a read… I broke a personal record and only whiffed super once that entire night).
Also a big thank you to Ralph, Yi, MattxChin, Gootecks, Stewart Uy and the Offcast broadcaster for making this event possible. I had lots of fun and I really appreciate it!

Arcade Battle… hoshit, that was a fucking grand time. You were definitely the strongest player on Team Moorpark College.
