She was the first character we made, she had extra win poses before we started on Cerebella. Everyone else only got 1 because of time, so hers weren’t animated specifically for this, they were already there.
BAD Russai! Bad! Down.
ESL is forgiven. (^.^) It was written for the launch of the patch. The situation has deteriorated quite a bit since before, but directly from the site “Not being able to tell anyone about these rather significant developments has almost been as bad as being largely unemployed and unable to continue our work on Skullgirls.” (emphasis mine) I haven’t had a job since June (and yet here’s this patch I worked on through November, yes it is someone else’s fault windsagio so shut it) but that doesn’t mean our NDAs magically expire. We said everything we were allowed to say in accordance with those limitations, and also in accordance with whatever was the plan at the time. I’m not a fan of giving people false hope, and I never said anything that we weren’t really planning on when I said it. >.< In fact, I avoided saying quite a lot, which was difficult.
My PS3 froze twice when I tried to join Guitalex for some games through unranked. It worked perfectly smooth afterwards with barely any rollbacks and no slowdown. One of my sets was with an American(east coast, I think) and another with a Canadian who had a 110 ping. I’d like to test Skullgirls with a higher ping to see just how effective the netcode changes have really been.
I know…
It is mostly a problem with the audience, not the content producers or the games. Capcom and the other big two(Namco and Netherrealm) merely give people want. Capcom especially doesn’t go the extra mile unless it has Ono lighting a fire under their asses. Thank God for Harada too. Tekken isn’t my thing, but at least he pushes for a meaty product and is willing to pay attention when something is done well(dat SCV netcode).
Can you give us a more detailed account of everything that’s gone down since June? Why the layoff? How did that affect the patch process? Why wasn’t the patch approved sooner? Plans for the future? What can we do to support lab zero?
Also, just to clarify, I assume the DLC colors are not currently available on PSN? The official patch notes lists them as available, but I assume that’s just future proofing against the 360 release?
You know, even with the difficulties that the devs have been through, the thing that made me most happy was the Lab Zero announcement. I was fearing that the game and the developers would be dismissed after the patch.
Good luck to the people of Lab Zero, conquer your hardships.
