Yes, the point is to let you do exactly that (Drop xx air super, airdash/doublejump etc), if it didn’t restore your options then sometimes you wouldn’t be able to dash and people would be confused why. Same theory as Hailstorm in MvC2 giving her back her options - it takes you off the ground, so it should.

So far render does Drop, air super, airdash j.MP, land etc.

I feel you man. Trust me, I feel you. I’m a bit salty we’re not getting it too but there’s nothing that we can do. It’s gonna be hard watching all the PS3 players enjoying the patched version, but we’ve waited this long and we can wait a little longer.
Why I’m excited is so we can get an official patch note list, and ravi said he was gonna dish on the bullshit they had to put up with during this whole process.

I’m from on PS3 in the UK and I’m kinda glad the patch is coming. I really want GGXXAC+ and P4A, the region lock was a major kick in the teeth. I’m just glad I have a 2D fighting game to play again now. Been playing TTT2 since and it’ll be nice for some Skullgirls again.

And what’s the GMT for the Skullgirls patch? If America is getting it at about Midnight then that’s like 7-9am here. I probably won’t get away with playing it a bit before I have to go to college. But it’s just hours away, HOURS.
Who wants to take bets that this will get delayed again in the space of a few hours?

Thank you. I was tired, but happy, at the time I wrote that. I kept hearing “rosebud” but couldnt remember the director or the film maker (yes I was that tired). I then said eff it, wrote the name of the first director that came to mind, and wished for the best. Apparently, my wish was not granted.

EDIT: I’m not bothered by people finding different ways to use media. It’s a part of culture, you know? Even if it is used “incorrectly.” I mean that’s a large part of parodies, memes, and satires. If you can only use something in it’s original context, its uses become extremely limited. Media is constantly being repurposed (the classes I’ve taken humorously refer to it as re-mediation) and that’s a good thing. I mean if that gif could only be used for a bad play performance we’d rarely see it. And that’s horrible. It’s good that people who may not have known about the film can find out about it through posts like that. I can only imagine how many people found out about that film and that director from that gif. I’m sure you’ve seen this scenario: a person sees an interesting picture or video, asks where it’s from, and then proceeds to find out more. Information and interest can be developed and transferred in so many ways. I just feel like people who take certain things too seriously or think everything they know is holy and cant be touched can really stifle the transfer and development of knowledge.

I’m sorry but what the hell? Aussies are being treated like everyone else when it comes to Skullgirls in its current state, PS3 users get it in PAL and the US, 360 users don’t. You being Aus doesn’t factor into this equation in the slightest. I understand you’re frustrated but just cut the victim approach because it sounds like you’re acting like you as an Aus consumer are being slighted more than North American or European 360 users when it comes to this game.
