The announcer already says something different, the words that show up when you win already say something different. If you want something that won’t cost development time, it needs to be simple and easy to implement. I’ve already gave what I thought it should be.
ooooooh ooooooooooh i have an idea. if it wouldn’t be too much of a hassle (game design wise). i think a cool little homage to MvC1 and MSH would be for the name of the super to appear across the screen if it was used as the deathblow in a match. like Gregor Samson or Diamonds Are Forever would come in all stylized and glowing in lights like an old matinee feature, which would fit in nicely with skullgirls whole blockbuster theme

There is a suggestion thread elsewhere guys.
oh shit you’re right. my bad, i keep forgetting about the rules on forums and get swept up in the momentum of conversations lol
At least you admit your faults. That automatically gives you more credit than many of the older posters here
I’m still perfect
The screen reads “Hit on all sixes”.
The announcer either says “GREAT!” or “PERFECT!” as opposed to “Cut!”
Pretty clear.
Massively delayed response less goooo
Ha, yar, I kind of figured as much but thought I’d ask none the less!
…now to go swindle a dev kit out of my college housemates in Microsoft…
So since WNF decided to drop SG, I’m starting a gathering in LA. Link.
Also, the very nice people from The Mixup are going to let me demo the new changes tomorrow (Saturday) at 2PM PST.
I hope this isn’t random. I was thinking what if Peacock could do George at the Airshow, in the air!
Probably a no go since one of peacocks biggest in built “balances” is inability to do air based specials…
-dime
Fuck, I will not be near a computer for this.
They will archive it, right?
The only request I’d have for peacock would be the ability to chain any of her guns…but it probably wont happen.
Streams are automatically archived, aren’t they? That’s like half the point of streaming…
And air specials for Peacock won’t happen, for a variety of reasons not to mention that there’s no animation for it.
Ravidrath answered in the neogaf thread of Skullgirls which is now a “Doom thread”

*That’s out of question. Skullgirls has been something truly revolutionary and awesome for me, and I love the game (I bought it on both PS3 and 360).
Just feeling a little bit depressed by the whole ‘slowing down’ of the project… If I could, trust me that I would happily give them dat million, right now on their hands. :D*
I assure you that we feel your disappointment, too. Nothing on this project has ever been easy, and it’s not so much that it’s hard that it’s all slow and out of our control.
Despite these delays, Autumn is still committed to the game. So all I can really do at this point is urge continued patience.
Things should be clearer in a few weeks, I think.
“Doom thread” as in some bad FPS fanatics have hijacked it, or “Doom thread” as in “The world is doomed because the patch keeps getting delayed”?
I dont know but its worst in the gamefaqs ps3 skullgirls board.
everything’s worse on gamefaqs.
The way I’ve been looking at recently is basically: The whole street fighter was pretty much dead at one point, wasn’t it? All it took was some new stuff (SF4) to revitalize the series. Doesn’t matter how much fans have “moved on”; if there’s new content, you can bet they’ll check it out. Unless we’re talking about SFxT (it’s funny how that’s, like, a punchline now).
At least 50k people have this game. They’ll hear about new things here and there, as long as they exist on this site or Eventhubs or Dustloops, and they’ll wander back in with the free patch (and anything else that may be free down the line, like lobbies or frame viewer). They’ll browse around when new characters hit (some of them, only when the males start trickling in), and they’ll check out new colors and stages, and they’ll check out the new training mode.
I’m telling you, people may not be paying attention, but that in no way shape or form mean they never will. As long as we can survive for two or three years, there will be enough content for SG2. By the time of SG2, SG’s will be unrivaled in variety, gameplay, art, and unique character feel.
Remember SFIII? The game was considered in critical condition because it had to compete with MVC2, a much easier to play game. That game survived because it was solid, it was good, it looked great, and Capcom didn’t give up on it. As long as we all stick around, this game will triumph.
Mike-Z, Ahad, Reverge and SG community…ganbatte!
Yes Zidiane! I feel the power of youth flowing through me again!
