Well, women do it.

There wouldn’t be a problem if people just kept playing the game instead of holding out waiting for a patch. I’m glad that there’s been much openness about the changes coming. Seems there’s so much goodness coming that people aren’t able to enjoy what they have in front of them. Dont worry about the lack of news- the staff must be somewhere else doing something. Don’t worry. You’ll be happy when release is announced.

this is exactly what gets me as well. worst case scenario is that people will have to drop/rearrange a few inputs on their combos. if you are just gonna drop a game because there is an update coming out for it at some undisclosed point in the future you will basically never play another fighting game as long as you live.

i actually think it would have been better if Mike Z had just never released any details about what was coming in the patch in the first place. its a shame because a large percentage of those players will be lost forever now even after the patch drops. im honestly not expecting things to pick up much more once it finally gets here.

marking to follow patch news, I don’t have anything useful to say ><

edit: ok I do have something to say

I think a lot of people who weren’t quite grabbed, but really want to like the game (like me) are waiting for, or more seriously counting on the patch to get them engaged.

In my case, the patch and the changes announced made me at least want to take a second try, but looking into the void is depressing.

You people arguing against developer-customer transparency are the worst. Go play SFII offline for the rest of your lives or something instead of messing with a good thing.

The problem I have is that Im waiting for the PC version which date is “Summer” that ends in a month and we have zero information about the port.

For every dolt who wants Mike Z and Ravidarth to make diary entries about their dinner choice, there’s another dolt who wants them to have less transparency.

Sigh.

I dunno, for some reason, I WOULD like to know what everyone had for dinner last night.

I had a homemade mushroom pizza with homemade sligthly garliced bread sticks.

Delish.

Actually up until now I was pretty sure that those boards were consisted of first kind of dolts entirely. It seems we were infiltrated by dat second type of dolts.
Crap.

There’s a difference between arguing against developer-customer transparency and respecting what a developer says.

The info Mike Z and Ravid dropped during the development was awesome and I give them much kudos for giving us as much as they did.

HOWEVER

When something is going on where Mike says that he SPECIFICALLY CAN’T TALK ABOUT, we should suddenly turn against him and keep pressing him for answers?

Considering all the stuff he’s dropped I’m sure he’d love to tell us what’s going on. But he can’t. He’s said this. Why can’t it be let at that without it suddenly turning into ‘OH MAN YOU’RE AGAINST DEVELOPER-CUSTOMER TRANSPARENCY’?

The problem is the total lack of news, I mean why not at least “Fanart friday?”, its impossible that can be a problem with a contract, so like I said they are resting for this month or they are busy then is ok but the problem is they dont say “Yeah we are on vacation” or “Yeah we are busy” and they dont say nothing and dont tell me “they cant talk everyday” for me a two weeks update about is enough but we have almost three weeks with complete silence and that for a product you need to sell because Skullgirls its not a free fangame that the developers do in their freetime is very bad.

Your concern is noted.

…it’s a company not your girlfriend/boyfriend. And even if it was there’s nothing wrong with silence. If there’s nothing to say stop trying to force stuff out of them. Nothing worse than a nagging, clingy significant other…imo

-_-;

In a way people wanting to know is a really good thing, because it shows they still care a lot about the product and the company, and are anxious about it.

It’s like when your girlfriend was supposed to have shown up an hour ago, and hasn’t called or anything. Depending on your nature, you’re either going to be a little worried that she got in an accident or a little worried that she’s cheating on you. Either way you’re worrying because you love her and want to be with her (… hopefully anyways)

You cant compare a company with your girlfriend/boyfriend because there is not money in it, maybe you can compare a company with a prostitute.

You you dont spend money on your girlfriend? Spending time together often, not always, results in spending money soooooo yeah it does. Just sayin.

We’re assuming that she’s actually your girlfriend and that you’re not a creeper right? Just checking. All jokes aside I’m just saying that’s there is a difference between caring/worrying and being obsessed. One is healthy, the other isnt.

Three billion men are now going to forward their restaurant and cinema bills to you… look forward to it.
