Why do you have to wait for Evo to make Marvel an official game before you go looking for money matches? The fact that MVC1 has no real tourney scene offline should make even more incentive for you to go do money matches. Evo has no say on getting off your ass to put someone’s money where their mouth is. That shit is hype no matter the game.

This time last year, we weren’t even having CvS2 tournaments. I said fuck that, got some people playing, now we have a consistent 12-16 man tournament most months, and we get players placing in national tournaments.
I’d really love for Marvel to get a more serious scene around here myself. I’m trying to get that to go down.
eric v did step up his marvel. i dunno wtf happend to victor. but i kept it close with eric in casuals, but he did have some nice shit along with him. if theres a place to play marvel then lets get this scene goin. but really the only time i played marvel outside of tournies was at victors house, i dont know of any arcade that has mvc2 anymore. =/.
Well, yeah, clearly the arcade scene is finished. Nigs just gotta game it up at people’s houses. People don’t play so much because there’s just a lack of energy in the scene. If there are people that want to play a lot, people will find the time and place for it.

me beating jwong in mvc2? thats more than likely not gonna happen. hes too experienced while im stuck in virginia. all i can do is practice what i see in some vids, test them out vs other people. marvel 2 is mad fun to play, and ill keep playing it though.
tornadoflame i was told by many VF5 is mad nice, and it looks so too. too bad im broke as a joke and not gettin a 360 anytime soon. i also heard the gaming community is humble while playing (which is a BIG surprise to me since its played online). but if i get a 360 thats the first game im pickin up no doubt. my bday+ xmas is comin up so anything can happen :tup: .

FWIW, Phi is still on vacation, so the MvC1 footage probably won’t be done until maybe December when he gets back. But he’s solid, so give him a bit and you’ll get great stuff. :tup:
