well, im going to give these codes a try since im available on the 360. im going to try them on the tutorial mode and see what happens from there
I’ve tried all the codes listed on the main menu, character select in tutorial and versus mode, on the settings screen in the options menu, and the SF2 code on startup of the game. Could not for the life of me get any of them to do anything.
What’s the code to get Anita in Marvel Super Heroes?
According to the internet the first fighting games are Karate Champ and Yie Ar Kung Fu. Yie Ar Kung Fu was also made by konami. Anybody know if either of those had codes? If they weren’t the first they were supposedly the ones that helped popularize the genre.
EDIT: btw i mean a code other than the konami code. Im not that much of an idiot

In the 360 version, go to Versus, then local. At the controller/player screen press in order: Down -> RB -> Up -> LB -> Y -> B
You should get the “New palette unlocked” message.

Did not have to press start button however, it unlocked right after pressing B!

Down R1 Up L1 Square X on PS3. Just did it.
EDIT: I believe they kept it Y B on 360 in keeping with the lettering of the classic code, but on PS3 kept with it’s button placement, on account of there not being letters for buttons.

the code works, awesome! however do what sideburn said for 360 only its SEQUENTIAL, no buttons or directions need to be pressed at the same time… also start isnt needed.
