he probably doesn’t really care but he might show up at the last minute (as always)
i don’t think he can do much with 4 not so good / average team-mates,though
he really can’t beat 4 or 5 “big boys” by himself and the vast majority of great players are already “taken”
[except for hayao]
long story but i really really like him - as a player and as a "character"
but when you have 2 tournaments with 215 other players, including all the gods of third strike and loads of old legendary faces, who cares about kuroda ?
don’t get me wrong : it’d be nice if he was in it but it’s not the end of the world if he doesn’t show up
that’s the way i see it
anyway, new “pre coope” team added [chun] :
raoh , izumi , mochi , magii , hiyama
i like mochi’s chun,very under-rated
btw,about rikimaru’s team [**キングギドラ] **:

This looks to be the biggest and baddest Coop Cup yet.
Amazing, considering how old the games is. Aging like fine wine.
When you’re the Holy Trinity of Godly Chuns, who needs other teammates.
I mean, I’ve seen Riki and Nuki teaming up against Yakkun and Ochibi on one of the Versus Cups; picking them apart and destroying 2 of the best Yuns, that tells you something. Adding MOV into the mix and shit just got serious.
I’m hoping one of the Gouki teams make it far.
And the Urien teams doesn’t have any names I recognize, wonder how well they would do.
Btw, why are people always asking for Kuroda?
The competition for this event is off the scales, I don’t believe his Oro would make much of a dent.
Unless, of course, he goes back to Gouki. He has a godly Gouki.
His Oro and Necro, not so much.
I don’t find his Oro or Necro particularly entertaining, but that’s just me.
He mostly just waits for openings; doesn’t have the offensive skill sets of the other top Necro/Oro users.
But hey, whatever floats your little boats.
agreed - probably because it’s the first “proper” tournament in a while
there are big and not so big tournaments every week or month etcetera
but in 2011 there was no tougeki and no CC
the now infamous matsuda-san is the owner of game newton so i see this event as a sort of apology for not having third strike in tougeki last year
it’s probably not like that at all but that’s how i want to imagine things in my mind,so…yeah
215 players @ their current skill level…pretty insane
these are potentially some of the most incredible third strike tournaments ever ?
i really hope one of you guys will record the whole stream
i see what you mean and i partially agree but it really depends on the character
kuroda-style necro is obviously effective [like all his characters] but i find it almost unbearable to watch
same thing about his old oro [kuroda dvd period ?]
these days, with the crazy cr hp reset xx yagyou dama and so on…i find watching it a lot better
with other characters,he doesn’t really sit around that much
gouki, yes - very unique and fun
and what about urien ? that’s the craziest urien i’ve evern seen - a blast to watch
really depends on the character
Thanks Shend for that remind, that Chun player’s name is Marko, a guy from France right?
I will try to get the stream url of the main event ASAP so you guys don’t need to worry. About the pre-Coop Cup tourny, I’m afraid that won’t be streamed…
