do you still have that coupon and how long does it last for?
I didn’t read much of this thread (not enough time ATM), but for the meantime until I read through and see what everyone else said, I’ll just put my broad ideas here.
So, from headphones I’ve used (admittedly not A TON, but quite a few including borrowing ones from friends for __ amount of time). Probably my two favourite brands would definitely be:
Sennheiser: (I actually don’t know them as individual models.) But from what I’ve experienced out of them, I think they’re some of the best I’ve used. But I think most I have messed around with were >$500 or so, if I remember correctly. But hunting around is always the funnest part of headphones, right!? (wrong)
Shure: I’ve only used the 840s and some other one that I can’t remember (it was very similar to the 840s, but had more of a bass boom (D-840s? I’ll fix this post up later 'cause this is horrible, haha). But yeah, I’ve been mainly using a set of 840s for almost a year now, and highly recommend them. Super crisp sound, though not much bass (which I’m OK with and the OP said doesn’t need). I think they’re supposed to be either 150 or 200, but I hunted around and got mine for around $100 with tax. If you can find them anywhere under 150, I’d say that’s a very good deal. Also should note that they’re somewhat heavy/clunky. So before buying I’d recommend going to a store or something to try them out first. I love how they feel, but some people apparently thing it’s very uncomfortable.
shure 840 go for 140 on amazon, question is though hows the sound leakage on em cuz i dont want anything that leaks like crazy.
coupon is still active

Coupon is tempting me to buy a pair for myself. But then again I already bought some headphones, iems and a headphone amplifier recently. ugh
Hey Ive finally got the chance to order them. Thanks for the help.
