This event will have no tournament fee but does count toward on your WiLLvolution record. If you win or lose to a team, it will count as 1 win or 1 loss instead of 2. One thing is that I need at least 8 teams in order to do this event. If not, then I will void the 2 on 2 tournament.

Since you can’t pick the same character in this mode, there’s a method that we are going to use to select the characters.
-Ice Breaker match
In the beginning of the set, one person per team will fight one on one to see who will pick first. WiLLvolution rules still apply except it’s only one match. The winner of the Ice Breaker match will choose first.
-Back and Forth Selection
The team that won the Ice Breaker match can choose which of their members to choose their character first. After that person chooses, one person from the other team will choose a character, then the other person from the first team chooses a character and finally the last person from the 2nd team will choose his/her character. i.e. if Team A+B defeated Team C+D in the Ice Breaker match, A will choose first, then C, then B, and finally D. Note that A doesn’t have to choose first all the time.
-Loser team picks first
After the first match, the losing team can pick first but the Back and Forth Selection is still in effect.
